Hello everyone!! Sorry it's been a while but I have been all over the place this year. I spent the first 3 weeks in Kansas City, then up to Iowa City for a few days, then Chicago, then Michigan, and now I am back in Chicago with my girlfriend Sarah Wenz. We are having a blast learning about relationship and what it looks like with community. I will be heading home to South Carolina tomorrow to spend time with the family and to get Sarah introduced to my wonderful family!! It's an exciting time for both of us! I will also be meeting with pastors in the area to see what Christian community looks like in SC. I am also heading out to Australia March 13th - 28th with a good friend Dan Baumann. We will be speaking in two different churches and two different DTS's. It is quite the honor to run and serve the kingdom of God with Dan. He is a mentor in my life and I am excited to see what God wants to do there. I am also trying to raise around $3000 until then so I can have everything paid off before Kona. I will be flying from Australia to Kona. Sarah will meet me there the 1st of April and we will be there for 2 months. Thank you all for your prayers and financial blessing!! I would love prayer for: Wisdom and guidance in my relationship with Sarah, financial provision, protection over our relationship, and grace/wisdom on how to bring in a relationship with Sarah into Awaken. Kansas City!

Here we are in Kansas City for the beginning of the year! When all of us came back from Kona before Christmas, we all went home to see family for the holidays. Then, after the New Year, 12 of us headed to Kansas City to seek the Lord for 2012. We really want to build our relationships out here that we started last year on the road trip. We are living with a man named Adam Cox, and he has really imparted family and the Father's heart onto us while being here. So, we decided to get under him and what his ministry is doing for this month. They carry the family of God and what it is to look like on Earth the best of anyone. They have blessed us with staying in the same house as him!! He is really imparting wisdom and revelation on what family and community is to look like in this day and age. We really feel that we have the same DNA as them and we are excited to spend this next month pouring into each other's life, building family, pouring into Kansas City, and seeking God for what is to come in this next year and beyond. It is an absolute privilege to get under these guys and really learn from them. We hope to really carry more of the Father's heart in our hearts on this trip. We want to seek sonship and what that looks like on Earth as sons and daughters of God. It's one thing hearing that God is our Father by pastor's and the Bible, but it is a completely different that actually getting the revelation of Papa God and His passionate, jealous love for us as children in the Kingdom!!!!!! He loves us!!! I am really excited to see what God is wanting to impart to us as a family and I pray that we get clear direction for what is to come in 2012. This outreach has been more than anyone could ask for. We have been able to pour out our lives into Cambodia for 3 months. We have impacted lives by discipling, teaching, and praying for the youth of this nation. I just want to thank everyone for their prayers and support because your prayers have been answered. This team has turned into a family and we are all sad to depart from one another in a week. We have helped God leave an imprint of His love into this nation. There are so many good testimonies of our team building relationships and pouring into individuals lives. My co-leader and I have hoped to leave everyone on our team a heart for this nation and for international missions. Our prayer is that this trip marks their lives for changing the world. We have had so much favor and grace to the point of knowing that it isn't us who is keeping this team together as family. It was and is truly God that holds everything together. He has had His hand on our team since day one. He has special plans for everyone on this team and it was a privilege to be apart of it. Everyone played such unique roles by just being themselves. Everyone has very special callings on their lives and I thank God that I got to be apart of what He is doing with their character and relationship with Him. I want to that all of you again for getting behind me in prayer and support. God bless you all and I hope to be contacting most of you when I get back into the states. We arrive back into Kona the 13th of Dec. and I will fly home the 17th. I will be home for a few weeks before heading out on my next season. Thank you all!!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Half Way

Here we are at the half way point of outreach. We have one more month of ministry here in Cambodia. It has been an absolute blessing living life with 12 friends. We have truly built family and we are starting to see what God wants to do in this nation. Everyone is starting to build relationships with the local Khmer (Cambodian) people. They are able to share Jesus, pray with them, and disciple them. We are getting excited to see what God wants to do through us this last month. We prayed yesterday morning and we felt to go to the government office here in Battambang. We think that there might be a divine appointment waiting for us to be able to share Jesus with someone in the government. Prayer for this would be amazing!! The Lord is moving through us each and everyday, and we are loving every minute of it. This outreach has been nothing but joy, love, fruit, and family. We have had our ups and downs (just like any other team would), but it has been outweighed by the presence of our Creator in Heaven. I thank God for the people who are praying for us over here. I can't express the abundance of grace that is poured out over this team everyday. Thank you for your prayers and support!! Blessings!!!

Youth Center!

This first month has flown by!! We have seen God is so many different aspects of life. The people here are showing us that we don't need have the 'stuff' we have in America. It makes every single one of us appreciate what we have at home. Everyone is loving it here after getting used to the culture, language barrier, and food. Once we get past that, we see God everywhere. And, that overrides all circumstance. We are starting our teaching tomorrow. Each person on our team has their own class teaching their own subject. Most of our students are non-believers so it is one of the best evangelism tools here in Cambodia. We get to build relationship with our class, spend time with them outside of the class, and share our testimonies and faith with them. We are praying for salvations, and we want to be able to disciple them to the point of being foundational. If we can pour into around 2 to 3 people these next 2 months, we can change this nation. We have 13 people, and if those 3 people do that same thing when we leave what we did with them, this thing can multiply big time!! And, this is what the YWAM base's strategy is to reach the lost, and in the past, it has worked! So we are glad to be apart of what God is doing here. Thank you for your prayers and support! Week 3

Hey guys!! We have made it 3 weeks now in Cambodia. We arrived in the capital city of Phnom Pehn and drove down to where we are now, Battambang. The first two weeks were spent in an orphanage in a village about an hour away from the city. We were teaching the children and young adults English and having bible studies. These kids will be the future of changing this nation. The conditions were challenging for some because we went from our comforts of Hawaii to bucket showers and simple meals within 5 days. It was great though! Everyone got a heart for these children and we really saw God bring growth and character to our team. These children helped us to keep perspective on what it means to really need God. And what it really means to be joyful. We arrived back at the YWAM base in Battambang last weekend. We will be here for the remainder of our time here in Cambodia. We will all be teaching non-believers English, guitar, drama, art, Korean, and music. Each person has their own class of about 10-25 students. And through teaching, we can build relationship with our students and eventually teach them about God and what we believe. Our goal is to pour our time into 2-4 students and go deep with them in seeing salvation, discipleship, and encouragement. We want to be able to leave Cambodia and know that we made an impact on a few people that can have a sustained relationship with God without us. And, hopefully, some can get into missions!! This team is a huge blessing to Kristi (my co-leader) and I beyond our expectations. We are humbled at how these people walk out their walk with God on a daily basis. We Arrive!!

We are here in Cambodia safe and sound!! Our team landed last night around 10:30pm. We arrived here in Phnom Phen, and we will be leaving tomorrow morning (saturday) for Battambang. We will be in Battambang for the majority of the time, but the first two weeks we will be spending in a village. The village is located in the south western part of the nation. There is an orphanage there that we went to last year, and we had a blast! Everyone has made it healthy and we are all very excited to see what God has for us in this wonderful nation of Cambodia! We will be working with women that have been rescued from sex trafficking to playing with little kids in the streets. Everyday will look different and I can't wait to see what will happen. We are submitted to God's heart because we know that is the only way to go. We will soon know what it is really like when Jesus says, "Blessed is the poor in Spirit". We will be waking up everyday and telling God, "We need you today, Help us Father". Our Father in heaven loves to provide for His children :)

I recieved all of my outreach money this week!!! The Lord provided every penny needed to go to Cambodia. We now leave the 20th of this month. Less than two weeks!!! I am so excited for what the Lord has for us as a team. Thank you all for your prayers!!

God's Goodness

God is so good to us. He watches out for us. He rejoices when you rejoice, He cries when you cry. God is an emotional God. He isn't this stale old man on a throne in heaven waiting to strike people down on Judgement Day!! God has so much for us if we just run after Him with all our life!! We have to give up ownership of everything we have because without Him, we have NOTHING! We can't take our next breath without Him. We are immersed in His grace and hardly recognize it throughout our life. He has big plans for people, but we want to take everything and put it on our own shoulders. It doesn't work that way. We weren't created to live life on our own. We were created to walk with God. We were created to walk with God in perfect friendship. We were created to share what we know about our Father in heaven to people who don't know Him. God loves us so much. He cares for us in every moment of every day. He dances and sings over His children!!! Anyways, last week of our school was another ground breaking week. We had to chance of sharing the love of Christ out in the streets of Kona, HI with a well known evangelist, Danny Lehman. Our students are getting their lives changed and so are we! My co-leader and I planned a trip across the island with our team on Friday and we had a blast! We are growing so close as a family and I can't wait to see how God uses us in Cambodia!

Anyways, my life has been so crazy these past 5 weeks. Our school has lifted off and we are growing closer to the Lord. We had an amazing time with a bible teacher on Monday and Tuesday, and then Andy Byrd on Wednesday and Thursday of last week. We have all of the lectures recorded on www.awakendts.com. My life has been crazy busy but crazy fruitful. I have 3 guys that I am walking with and discipling on a one on one basis. They are getting blasted by Jesus each and everyday, and I get to be apart of their growth. They are getting to see how they are as sons of the Father in heaven, and heaven is starting to become a reality. They want to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth and it's a honor to be able to walk with them in it. We have about 6 weeks left in lecture and we are off the Cambodia. My team is absolutely AMAZING!!!! We are already starting to become like a family. Our heart is to have relationship based around the presence of the Lord and carry it into Cambodia to see hearts changed. And that's what we are going to do. My life is incredible and I can't thank God enough for where He has placed me and who He has placed me with. I get to live and grow with my best friends in Hawaii. Then I get to take teams all over the world!!!! I am blessed to be apart of what God is doing here in Kona. I thank y'all for supporting me with your prayers and finance. God bless y'all!!!

Week 1

There is such an acceleration in our school and it's blowing our minds!! Everyone is hungry for the Lord and we are getting after it. People are getting delivered, healed, and coming into the reality of their identity. They are already praying and ministering to one another without us (staff). That usually doesn't happen until week 5 or 6! God is doing something new and we are humbled to be apart of it. I just want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. I wouldn't be able to do this without y'all. I am humbled to the fact that you pray for me and believe in me. Thank you for believing in me. Next week, we will be listening to a man named Ivan Roman, and the subject is " How to hear the voice of the Lord". We just know that God is going to keep taking us deeper into His heart this week and we are in hope for more breakthrough. I can't begin to express the gratitude for what God is doing and what He is about to do!! Thank you Lord!! May we go from Glory to Glory each and every week. My prayer is that everyone who reads this gets a greater revelation of who they are as sons and daughters of the Most High King!!!!!

God is Doing It!!!

All of the prayers for this school are already being answered!! The 3rd day of school, God started to transform hearts. People are starting to come to the realization of who they are as sons and daughters in Christ!! The joy of the Lord is over this school in a way that is indescribable! All 88 students are in this school because they want God. You will usually have 10 or 12 students that don't really want to be here, but this year, God has captured every heart before they got out here! The Holy Spirit is healing people's hearts, and all of the students are responding to His love. And it is only the 3rd day!!! Tomorrow is our first day of class, and all of our staff are excited about speaking this whole week. I will be speaking on Tuesday about my testimony and what God has been doing in my life the past few months for 15 to 20 minutes. All of our staff will be doing this all week instead of us having a speaker. Usually, we have a speaker come in every week and speak on a certain topic. It is such a privilege to be able to speak in front of everybody. There is so much anticipation for this school this summer. God is going to changed lives and we, as staff, get to watch and be apart of all it! So, we will be having 3 months of lecture here in Kona, HI. Then, all 120 of us (88 students, 30 staff) will be going out into the nations for 3 months. It is going to be life changing, and God is going to do amazing things through us. Nazerite

If you didn't know, since February 1, 2011 I have been in a season of consecration. I did this to separate myself even more from the simple pleasures of this world. I felt to do a 6 month Nazerite vow. Nazerites are first talked about in the bible in Numbers 6. And it was available to people to take up this consecration to go into the Holy of Holies. They wouldn't touch a hair on their head, wouldn't drink alcohol, and didn't eat anything off the vine (grapes etc.). So, since February I have been restraining from cutting any hair on my head, no sweets, no secular movies, no secular movies. It has been quite the journey! The Lord has truly honored it. I feel that it is a privilege to live a life of consecration. There is a special joy in my spirit in these seasons of fasting. So, this is why y'all see me with my hair really long and crazy looking...lol. I am not doing this to become righteous, but I am doing this because I am righteous. We can't earn God's love, but we can recognize it and move out of that place. We will never be able to do enough. We need to say to ourselves that Jesus and what He did on the cross is enough. We need to be in a place of rest in our hearts knowing that our Father in heaven loves us like sons and daughters. It's crazy how much all these things I am giving up are such a big part of my life. It has been a struggle in times with all this hair, or not being able to eat my favorite thing ever, SWEETS!!! But, He is worth it, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love Jesus and He has changed my life. The least I could do is give my whole life to Him.

Hey y'all!! These past few weeks have been amazing!! We spent 4 days last week on the other side of the island together as staff. We had a fee days of prayer, worship, and fellowship. It brought us together as a family and we are all on the same page. God is going to do something special in our school. And, it's going to have to start with us as leaders. It is happening, and we are all stoked to serve and walk along these students (could be up to 100 students!!!). Arrival day for our students is July 7th. I have a few requests from anyone who could help. I need $600 by next Friday. Then I am going to need $600 by July 12th. If y'all would like to get behind me on this, it would be huge for me and the Kingdom. You can also pray for this breakthrough in this year as well. Thanks for your time and prayers. Summer Update!

Hey everyone!!! Sorry it has been so long since my last blog. So much has happened since Cleveland. Being in Cleveland was so good! I got to hang with Matt Scap and his family for a few weeks. We went and poured into 4 or 5 house churches that really had the same DNA that we saw on our road trip (small communities centered around the presence of God). After that I spent a week back home in South Carolina. Matt came with me and we had a blast hanging out with all of my family. It was very refreshing being blessed with the opportunity to spend some good, quality time with my family before coming out to Hawaii. I am now back in Kona, Hawaii with all of my staff members and friends. We are one big family that loves Jesus and loves seeing lives transformed. We have started staff training and it will go until the end of June. Training consists of people coming and speaking on practical tools that we can use when we are on outreach, leading small groups, to leading out one on ones. It is definitely not a waste of time like some people thought it was going to be..lol. God has really been pulling up some junk in my life in order to get it out and get healed. He is revealing selfishness and pride is a bunch of areas in my life. Be careful when you pray the scary prayers like : God humble me, or God have your way..lol. These prayers have changed my life but it comes with a price of dealing with all of your junk. No matter what kind of ugliness God is uprooting out of me, the Lord always pours a peace over me letting me know that I am right where He wants me. He is so good to us!!! Sometimes we can't see it in the moment, but He is always watching and always faithful. During this season, ( and probably the rest of my life) I am digging deep in who I am as a son of The Perfect Father. When I pray for the revelation of who I am as a son, guess what God does. He brings up areas in my life where I am finding my identity in other things other than my sonship!! lol. So, God is really doing this with all of our staff this month, and we are really going after it. It can definitely get messy at times but it is so worth it. Our students arrive July 7th. And, I have also committed to taking a team back to Cambodia!! I am SO excited about going back and I think it is just wise taking students to a place where I know the ropes a little bit. Encountering Jesus in Community

I have been here in visiting my friend Daniel Stedman here in CA for the past 2 weeks and we have really began to see the fruit of the overflow from community. When we first arrived, there were 3 girls within the first 2 weeks that encountered God by them just getting immersed in this community founded on the presence of God. One girl is now doing our DTS this summer, the other one is staffing, and the other one was truly touched by God in a special way!!!! We didn't make it a task or a outreach instead we just loved on these people and the love of God touched them in ways that are way bigger than our words or actions. We have been experiencing God in a fresh way here at Daniel's house. The presence of the Lord is tangible and we can't get enough of His love for us. This home has turned into a dwelling place of the Lord. I am seeing my friend Daniel get transformed from 3 friends (Matt Scap, Chase Cofer, and I) surrounding him on a daily basis praying, worshiping, and just talking about God. He was here by himself and 3 of us felt to come down and live life with him. It is nothing that we are saying that is transforming him, it is the presence of our Father in his home that we have created by corporate worship and prayer on a daily basis. So, I just want to encourage all of you go after the Lords presence and it will change the atmosphere of your home, workplace, car, etc. The Lord is waiting for you to go after Him. Lift up the people around you, encourage them, speak no evil against them, and you will see change in your life. Community amplifies the calling of someone. When you can have 5 people lay their plans, money, future, and vision down for one persons vision, God will honor it. How much more will this one person's vision explode from these 5 that have his back in anything?!? Thank you Jesus.

It has been quite the journey!! We have come all the way from Boston to Cali. with 2 oil changes and one fixing of the sway bars!! I have been growing so a such a rapid pace that some revelation is hard to put into words. I have become more aware of the Fathers love on a daily basis. This trip seems to have more joy, grace, favor, and fruit than any other trip I have been on. God has taken us on the trip of a lifetime with 5 of the coolest people ever!! We have grown in different ways but I know we have all grown in knowing what it takes to have a thriving, presence filled community. We need unity, transparency, cooperate communion and prayer, one heart, and commitment. I long to see the hubs of community all over the United States who have Kingdom values not living in compromise. Anyways, we are in Redding, CA visiting Bethel Church. We will be here until tomorrow and head to Sacramento to visit Haleys family. We went from San Antonio to Pheonix to Las Vegas to Redding all in a week!! We have been moving very fast, but it has been amazing. We also stayed in Lake Tahoe for the night.

My plans for after the trip until June 1st
April 12th - spend 2 weeks in Laguna Beach to visit and support my good friend who is in school right now.
April 28th - fly to Cleveland with Matt Scap to support him while he goes home to his family. We will cast vision and pour into the city. We will be there until the end of May.
- the last week in May will be spent at home in NC with my family!! We will spend time praying and loving on Fayetteville. Also will be processing this trip we are on now in all of these places.

San Antonio, Fire, 93

We have arrived in San Antonio and it has already been full of favor and God moments. We left Waco, Texas yesterday afternoon and felt to head south to San Antonio. We had nowhere to stay so some of us sent out Facebook Status' saying, "Heading to San Antonio, if anyone knows anybody that can house us let us know." So with about an hour and a half before we arrive, Andrew gets a message from a friend that lives down here. She happens to have a couple that can house all 6 of us!! For Free!! AGAIN!!! The man said as soon as Andrews friend asked if we could stay, God told him to say yes and to take care of everything for us while we are down here!!! Thank you God!! We are so blessed once again. So, tomorrow is the first day of 3 of our gathering. A little background, we tried to meet with Todd Bentley ( a man truly walking in a healing anointing and was part of the revival that took place in Lakeland, FL) in North Carolina and it fell through. Andrew kept praying and being persistent with Todd's assistant. Nothing happened so we put behind us (everyone but Andrew). About a week and a half ago, Andrew was praying in his quiet time and got 3 things: San Antonio, Fire, and 93. He had no idea what this meant and we really didn't feel led to come to Texas at this point in our trip. So, Andrew starts to see what is happening in San Antonio and March 23rd -25th, Todd Bentley is having a revival, healing, outpouring of the Holy Spirit gathering here!! We all took it to prayer in Denver laughing about it all and we felt to come! God has truly been with us every step of the way and it is a privilege to be doing it with 5 other amazing men and women of God. I can't begin to express the fruit, healing, good times, laughter, blessings, divine appointments, good food, rewarding fasts, nice beds, and family moments has had on my life. This trip has truly changed my life in many ways. God has shown me how life can be lived in America. In the working world. In the 'normal' family raising world. At a University. God has walked me through a lot of healing this past month in a half. I feel so much more comfortable in my 'Christian' skin i guess you would say. I just feel more confident in who I am in Christ without being insecure and acting like I know it all. I am just beginning to find out who my Father is in Heaven. He is taking me deeper and deeper each and every time I get into the quiet place with Him. After Texas, we will be heading West to California. We don't know whether it will be southern or northern first. But, we have these next few days to pray into the next step just like we did every other place. Our faith has grown tremendously being in a place of leaning on the Lord for everything. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!! Oh and I am just going to throw this out there, I am going to make a:

The York's in Colorado!

From Kansas City, we came to Denver, CO. Andrew and Elizabeth's parents live here and we are staying with them for the next few days. Our last few days in Kansas City were crazy! We got to meet with Lou Engle and his wife in his living room. We had the privilege of Lou praying for us. He imparted getting prophetic dreams and visions, and he also imparted extended fasting and prayer. We also met with Brian Kim that morning about his dreams, visions, and helped us process the trip as well. He was the one who had the dream of the red LIFE tape for the ending of abortion in America. He is one of Lou's spiritual sons. After meeting with these guys, we had dinner with Bob Hartley. We had a blast!! He is one of the funniest people we have met with. His family just welcomed us right in and we felt right at home. The Lord has truly blessed our socks off. We get to rest here, process, and pray about our next few steps. We are either going to Texas, Las Vegas, or Northern Idaho. I will be sure to update you when we find out!! We are truly learning how to be vulnerable and to keep no record of wrong towards each other as a team. We just want the fullness of God's dream for Awaken. We see that the only way to move in pure community is to be transparent. God is good!!

We are here in Kansas City! IHOP is awesome!! We have been here for about 3 days and we leave tomorrow for colorado. We have a few meetings today and hopefully get to spend some time with Lou Engle sometime today. We spent some time in the prayer room this morning and it was so life giving. Seeing people, 24 hours a day, worshipping and praying for the things on God's heart. Two of our girls Erica and Haley went and stayed in the prayer room all night!! They stayed up for like 30 something hours!! They got to get some rest today though. We went to a Hope Seminar that Bob Hartley runs weekly and they happened to be speaking on community!! Then he prophesied over us at then end. It was so good!! Father, we just thank you for all that you have dine on this trip and I pray that you bless the ones who support us in prayer and financially. Thank you Father!!!

Here we are in Tulsa staying at our friend,Madison Wooster's house!! This place is amazing and their hospitality is great!! It still feels like the south!!! We will be here for another day or so and then its off to Kansas City to meet with some of the International House of Prayer leaders. We are just all in high spirits because we just love each other soo much!!!! God is good and He is showing Himself to us all over the place! Praise and Glory be to Him!!! Oh, and we are meeting with David Fritch today in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is part of Burn 24/7 here. Burn 24/7 is a global movement inginting fire in the heart of believers through worship and intercession. Thank Madison for that explanation!!

Half Way Thru!!

Today is March 2nd. We have been on the road for about a month. We have been to Boston, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, DC, the Carolinas, Alabama, and we are now in Tennessee. It has been on of the most life giving, growing, humbling time of my life. We have met with people like Dutch Sheets, Ken Helser, Jonathan Helser, Jamie Galloway, Chris Dupre, Dick Simmons, Jason Hershey, Don Finto, and Todd Mcdowell. It has been beyond words. My perspective of God has changed dramatically in this past month. Grabbing revelation out of each person’s testimony and what God is doing in their life and running with it. The biggest revelation that I received was two days ago and it was just a reminder that Jesus is absolutely crazy about us. When it came from Chris Dupre, it hit my like a ton of bricks and I am still hanging on to that. I want to hang on to that and grow in that revelation for the rest of my life. Without realizing how much He loves us, we don’t move out being loved. Meaning we move for the approval of something or someone else. We can’t walk out for His love. He is More that in love with you!!! He can’t keep His eyes off of you. Walk out in His love. Everyday should be a realization of how crazy He is about you and you can’t do anything else but love everyone around you!! At the end of this trip, I just want to love God more, know how passionate He is about me, have practical ways to carry community, and do this all with the people that I love. And it’s only half way through and I have seen all of this!!! I can’t wait to see what God has for us on the rest of our trip. We are headed from Nashville to Memphis TN right now. From here, we don’t know where we are going....hahah!!!! Love it!! But it will either be Texas, Oklahoma, or Kansas City. Love y'all!!!

Revelation

I wrote this in my journal February 22nd, 2011 in my journal. We have been on the road for about 18 days. So much has happened since we began. My thoughts of America are changed forever. My view on community has grown tremendously. I have a grid on what community is to look like outside of YWAM. Because YWAM can be such a bubble for people, although great for different seasons, I feel that it is important to be launched into the "real world". I am seeing for instance: seeing people getting involved in different parts of their community, loving people in the church and not judging the church's theology. The people in that church are way more important than their theology or the building they meet in. Seeing God moving all over the East Coast is AWESOME!! Seeing the Lord's true beauty in nature, especially in the South!! This trip has given me passion to start community with some friends somewhere in America. Getting launched into the nations, but having a sweet community to come home to. These people I am running with are PERFECT. I can't ask for a better group and family. Also, seeing that we do have a good sense of community as Awaken. There is something way bigger than what we can see right now. Its cool to see wach person so well connected to one another and at the same time, being on their own journey. Seeing how important family is, is probably the most significant word we keep hearing. In that, we want to know what family looks like all over America. How can we bring it to the nations? Seeing God's faithfulness is out of this world!! We have seen God move everywhere we go. From getting a van, to getting it fixed for cheap, to protecting us from Boston to New Jersey without sway bars in the front, to offerings from churches and friends, to food blessings everywhere we go, to getting to see my family for the first time in a year, to God sending us to Charleston, SC to see my brother, his wife, and my nieces and nephew. And I got to see my parents again!! All my family and a YWAM crew all together in one house!! Years of prayer for stuff like this to happen with my family. God has prepared the way for all of us!!!

I Made It Home!!!!

We are in North Carolina!!! I can't believe that we are here. It has been 11 months since I have been home to see my parents. They are such wonderful people. Their hospitality was out of this world!!! We have had the past few days to rest and process a few things with each other as a team. I can't ask for a better place to be!! We are leaving today for Charlotte. We will be meeting with Jonathan Helser and his dad. They are very Godly people and it will be an honor to be able to pick their brain for a few hours. It is cool to see God is moving all over the United States. With all of the negative things that we all hear on the news, God is really showing us that something is getting stirred up in a HUGE way here in America. God continues to bless our team with everything we need and much much more. We can't stay away from His blessing. People are taking care of us in ways we never expected. After NC, we will be heading down to Alabama. There is a place down there called, The Ramp. The word on the street is that God is moving like crazy down there. So, we felt led by the Lord to head down there after we hang out with Todd Bentley in Charlotte next week. We will be down here in NC for a week or so.
Here is a little of what God is showing me during this trip: He is showing me what community looks like in the "real world" or outside the YWAM bubble. Community is shown differently in every place with all of them having the same thing thing in common. They all have people that they either live with, or live around that are "family". People are constantly around you encouraging, challenging, and motivating. Community is just family looking after one another on a daily basis with tons of vulnerability. Getting involved in churches is another big thing. Not caring if the church is a little "off" or not your style, but really investing in the people there on a 1 on 1 basis. Building relationships is huge!!

We are blessed to be here in Washington DC. We arrived last night around 11pm. We will be here for the next few days talking to Jason Hershey and his community. We are staying in a very strategic location where their prayer house is. You can loom out of the window and see the Supreme Court building!! Crazy huh?!? Community is the word for the week and maybe even the trip. We are so blessed to be able to go on this trip and to meet the people we are meeting. We met and lived life with the JHOPers and it was awesome. After that, we drove down to New Jersey at the Resting House of Prayer. Their sense of family there was out of this world!! They welcomed us with open arms, fed us, and housed us. We even have the priviledge of going to a worship set Monday night. We even ran into YWAM people that we are very close with (levi miller, Sammy rodriguez and a few others). They had a specific time set apart just to bless us in prayer and had a love offering for us. They showed their love and appreciation for us as missionaries in a genuine, godly way. We are stoked to be connected with them as well as the JHOP crew. We are now in PA with our friend Corey Martin. He pastors a church here in his community in Lancaster. He has so many good things going on here. He lives here with his wife and two daughters. They are treating us with the upmost hospitality!! Home cooked meals will never go without thanks in our crew! Tomorrow we will be talking and hanging out with the YWAM Harrisburg. They run DTS's and we see well connected with all the leaders there. We are excited to see what God is doing in Harrisburg. We have had so much perspective on family and community in a real and practical ways. We are truly blessed to be able to pick this amazing men and women of Gods' brains. Bless you!!!

We all made it to Boston!!! Our last member of the road trip got in last night. We are at JHOP (justice house of prayer) and it's been amazing. We got connected with everyone involved here and it's just been really good. We get our van today after lunch, and this morning we will be heading to Harvard to pray on the campus for a couple hours with the JHOP crew. It is freezing here too!!! Plane Ticket Bought!!!!

I received $200 dollars at our Monday morning worship this week and was able to buy a plane ticket to Boston!! I am so excited for this trip. I leave Feb. 1st to meet with the rest of the crew. We have 6 people going and we have a blog that you can join so you can follow every step of the way!! This week is going to be so good. My sister and I have our wonderful aunt and uncle here from South Carolina. It will be so good to see them considering not seeing them in over a year. God is so faithful!!! I am looking forward to spending some quality time with my family before heading out of Kona. There is so much excitement in my heart that cannot be measured. And yes, I made them myself. lol....Anyways, God is stretching me in a whole new way in trusting in Him for the things He has put on my heart. All I have is the word of the lord on this one. Mainland Bound!!!

I am coming back to the mainland!!! Some of the Awaken staff are going to the East Coast and traveling all the way across America for 2 months. We are starting in Boston to the JHOP (Justice House of Prayer). After that, we will be going to Harrisburg, PA and then to D.C. After that, we will be going to Charlotte, NC with Morning Star ministries. I also get to see my parents for the first time in almost a year!!! I am so excited!!! After North Carolina, we will be going down to Alabama to the Ramp and back to Atlanta to meet with different leaders there. From Atlanta, we THINK we will fly to Denver from there, visit a church, and then off the Kansas City to IHOP (International House Prayer). From there, we will be going to California to Bethel Church. From there, we will be going down to L.A. In this trip we will be doing a lot of meeting with the top leaders of America in the church and prayer house world to gain perspective. In this, we want to build relationships with people and get connected with them as Awaken continues to grow. We want to go into longer term missions and be able to come back to America with these contacts to be able to communicate what is going on in the world and how they could help. Getting connected with people is key to long term missions. I, myself, am called to Cambodia for a longer period of time. I can't go there without getting connected with people who can help me with prayer, finances, and people to help fulfill my vision. We aren't going on a support raising trip necessarily. We felt from the Lord to get perspective and meet with people the Lord puts in front of us. We want to just be available to what the Lord has for us. We will be doing a lot of ministry outside all of this as well. We will be doing street ministry everywhere we go. Treasure hunting (praying and asking the Lord for specific things and going into the streets), prayer walks, and relationship building is going to be a big part of all this. There is so much expectation in our hearts as a team for this trip. This trip will be life-changing for my team. I still need some people to back me up on this trip in prayer and finances. I will need about $2500 for the whole thing. We will need prayer in the area of divine appointments, protection, unity, blessings, favor, and Revival!!! At our last ministry, we saw over 100 salvations in the prisons!! These people are eternally saved!! AMEN!! God is so good!!! My team did a drama and a few spoke, then had a alter call. Dozens and dozens raised their hands and invited Jesus into their hearts! It was one of the most moving things I have ever seen, prisoners giving their life to Jesus. AMEN. We are here in Bangkok for our last day before flying home to Kona, Hawaii. This outreach has changed my life. My team experienced more blessings and favor than ever! It was great!! My heart for Southeast Asia has grown tremendously. I feel called back to this area for the next few years. I can't wait to see the people of Thailand experience Jesus. Finishing Strong

Our outreach has been life changing. Leading this team is a whole different arena than just being a student. It has been Awesome!!! It's definitely challenging on a daily basis but it is worth every minute. I love my team to death. I can't to see and grow with all of them in the future. This team will have a life long effect on me (in a positive way). We have 4 days left of ministry. We have about 10 speaking arrangements. At least 7 of those will have alter calls. We have been praying for this for 6 months!! Pray that we get to see salvations starting Thursday mourning. We are going into a 5000 person prison tomorrow and putting on a drama and word of encouagrment, then alter call. We will be speaking to about 500 of them. 600 have already been saved out of the same prison!! Can we say... REVIVAL!!! Then, Saturday and Sunday we will be going into the hilltribes. We will have 4 services in two days. I cannot wait to see God move in these remote areas where people think nobody cares about them. Pray that God will show up and we will see God move. We have arrived in Thailand!! We took a 10 hour night bus right to the north east. It is quite the adjustment considering that we were in a schedule for the past 2 months. Cambodia was amazing! I loved every part of it! I can't wait to go back and see what kind of investment I can put into redeveloping this nation. Cambodia needs help. I feel like I have some things that I could offer in a few years. We will be here in a small province north of Chang Mai. Then, we will be going to Chang Mai to finish our ministry. This next month we will be doing street evangelism, preaching, prayer walking, teaching English, and prison ministry. We could use some prayer in getting God's perspective and finishing strong. We want to finish stronger than we started. God has a lot for us and we want to run after it! God bless you all!!

Its our last week in Cambodia!! It has been very fruitful and we have planted many seeds in the city of Battambang. Love is such a huge part of the people here. That's all they know when it comes to community and family. Unconditional love. We want to finish strong here and be able to plant as many seeds as we can before we leave. I heard a great analogy once. They said when you plant a seed what do you see? Do you just see a tiny seed planted into the ground? Or do you see that see growing into a tree and that tree getting turned into something like a violin. Can you see past what you see in the present? The seeds that we plant in these young people are getting planted in the perspective of seeing these young people being the future Christian leaders of this country! We see the violin in the seeds we plant. I encourage you to do the same. Also, I am still needing about $2000 total for my outreach fees and I need some help. Unity is Key

We, as leadership, have come to realize that unity is one of the most important things about outreach. When people aren't unified, it can prevent people from moving out in the things God has for them. It can affect the whole entire team. So, we had a meeting together and it ended up going in the direction of settling arguments and forgiveness. It was amazing!! We needed such a time as this! Now, it's time for them to really walk this out and forgive and encourage one another on a daily basis. My experience here has stretched me out to the point where, in certain situations, I can't do anything but trust in the Lord and pray. All we can do is lean on the Lord in every situation. As a team, we are all figuring that out and we are starting to see the fruit from it. We are all desperate for the Lord and what He has for us. Our daily intercession times are on fire now!! They started off dry and hard to get through, but now we are all going after it together and it is bringing us together. I am so thankful for the people that are on my team. We are truly becoming like a family. Keeping God in the center of our day, everyday, is one thing that is holding us together with the little things. When we are in a place on constant thanksgiving, prayer, and worship, we don't have time to think about the small stuff. And it's really easy to think about the small stuff in this sensitive time that we are all in. I thank God everyday for people's health and servant hood. We could use prayer for more unity, protection of the mind, health. And healings and salvations in our ministries. Thanks for following!!

His Presence is Enough

It has been an amazing time here in Cambodia! God has really been with us and favor has come our way. We have come to learn that all we need is Him and nothing is fulfilling but Him. I have been on a roller coaster of health issues and emotions. God has really been stretching me with certain things that have come up concerning some things in my heart. He has walked me through everything and I have come over the hump! I had a fever for about three days and I couldn't even get out of the bed last week. This week was fantastic though. Our students are really going after it. Some students that they are teaching English are asking about Jesus and wanting to know who he is. We are giving out bibles to kids who have never read a scripture before in their life!! God is so faithful and I am really appreciative of our students and their attitudes. Because it's hot, and it's nasty out every single day. And they are focusing on why they are here and really staying positive. We are constantly staying in prayer and worship everyday whether they want to or not..lol. Overall I am so thankful for these people in my life and it is so encouraging to see them really go after the things on Gods heart. Thanks for the prayers! We will be continuing our ministry here in Battumbang for another 3 weeks, then off the Thailand! Love you all and may God bless the ones who read this!!

True Love

Just got back from the village yesterday and it was life changing! We walk in this orphange/village and they have nothing to play with, no running water, or air conditioning. All they have is each other and Jesus. We learned quick that this is all you need! These children were on fire for God! They prayed and worshipped at least three times a day together. They took care of each other just like Jesus would do. They probably taught us more than we could teach them. We got to pray, worship, and play with them all week. We also taught them english and blessed them with fruit and candy. It was such a blessing to see God moving in this remote part of Cambodia. Three fevers were healed almost instantly, and two of our team memebers were healed instantly of their sickness. God is good and He loves those children like crazy! If I was to take a team back here to Cambodia, I will be sure to take them to the same village. Go God!!!

Just want y'all to know I love y'all and I am praying for you guys. We are here and it's been crazy!! The people here are beautiful and the children are adorable!! All they have is family and it's awesome!! We are going to the village tomorrow for a week. No running water (except for the river) , no electricity, and a bunch of kids. I am very excited to run with this crew! God has been wrecking us for this nation. I can say that our team honestly has a heart for these people and they only have been in Cambodia for 2 days! That's what intercession will do for a team not knowing where or who they are going to reach out to. I am here in Bangkok, Thailand because I am waiting for our last student to arrive. His passport came late in the mail so he had to take another flight. He will be here in two days from now. This gives me plenty of time for me and God to spend some alone time. I love every minute of it. My alone times with Him are the most important part of my walk right now. How privileged we are to be able to spend time with our Creator anytime we want!! This is a great time for me to get words for the students and my other leaders, study the Word, and the culture in Cambodia! I haven't had free time to myself in a long time!! It's kind of weird but God has been here with me and we have been having fun. He has put more joy in my heart than I can remember. God bless and I will be sure to keep y'all updated!!

We Have Arrived!!!

We have arrived in Bangkok, Thailand last night all in one piece! Our travels went flawless and we are so glad to be here. The team leaves today around lunch time for Cambodia. I am going to wait behind because we have a student that doesn't get here until Tuesday. Then, we will go into Cambodia together. The Lord has been so good to us. Our team is absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to grow together and serve this nation with all my heart. I have a welcoming back in my spirit right now from the last time I was here! There is this inner joy that I have being here that is unexplainable. I love these people and culture. I am so blessed to able to come out here and love and serve these two nations. We slept so well on our travels that no one is really suffering from jetlag. I can't wait to be apart of rebuilding this nation of Cambodia. The joy in my heart is unexplainable! Thank you Jesus!!! 2 Weeks!!!

We are leaving for Cambodia in two weeks!! I am so excited for our team. I have a really good feeling that we are going to grow close as a family, fast. We felt that we weren't spending enough time with them as staff, so we are going to change that as of today. Our students are everything to us in this season and we want what's best for them. We want to serve them as Jesus would. The Lord is so good to us and He revealed this to us today. All I can say is that Cambodia look out!! Because we have a group of fiery young people that will do anything to share the love of Jesus. I can't wait to see what God has for us in these next 3 months. Life Changing

My weekend in Sacramento is hard to put into words. My weekend of fasting and praying for America changed my life in the most positive way. We spent over 17 hours constantly praying and worshiping in two days. We were, literally, going to war for America and specifically California. I am exhausted beyond belief but my spirit is on fire for the heart of God. I was drawn so close to him for such a long period of time while standing in the gap for America. God downloaded His heart on me for human trafficking and the lost. I was weeping for about half an hour without control! We cried out for hours begging God to have mercy on America and I feel like we made a huge difference. We moved God's heart Friday and Saturday. I wish I could put into words how i feel but I can't. All I can say is that my body is literally exhausted and my spirit is on fire. I feel like I have drawn closer to His heart for the things that are going on in the world. My life is changed. My heart goes out to America, sex trafficking all over the world, and black America in specific. I have never had a heart for anything!! God has changed that over a weekend. Now, I long to see these children and women who are involved in sex slavery in Cambodia rescued. Injustices are huge in my heart right now and I want to do something about it! I am so glad to be going to Cambodia in a few weeks to spread the love of Jesus!!!!

Testimony!!! - When we were praying for sex trafficking in America, Craig's list in that very hour said that they don't want anything to do with sex trafficking through their website. So, they got rid of their whole Adult section or their site!!!!! God is so good!!! He hears our cries!! Can't wait to see what else comes out of this!!! I thank God for tenderizing my heart for the lost and hurt everyday from here on out!! Thank you Jesus!!

We as staff went out for a one night getaway to the other side of the island yesterday. We have just gotten back and I just want to say, I love my friends that are in my life. They are so so awesome!! We had such a fun time hanging out without any kind of agenda. We just hung out with God in the center and He showed up and visions and ideas about after the school (DTS) came up. We are all stoked to see wheree God is going to put us together after this school. About 80% of us are sticking together for the next couple of years and I can not wait!!! God has huge things for us in this season for the rest of the school as well. We leave for outreach around Sept. 26th or so. Me and two other co-leaders will be taking a team to Cambodia for 3 months. Life is good!!!! We had an awesome time in class today!! We had about $6500 needed by 3pm. We started to come around each other in prayer and worship around 1pm. Seeing the students come around and support each other brought them closer as a family more than ever today! Just to see people who never talk to each other give money to them and standing firm. Seeing the students contend for each other was AMAZING. Something shifted today in this. The family is actually feeling like one now. Oh, and ALL the money came in at like 1:30pm. Everybody was helping each other and I am so blessed to be apart of this school. God is so good to us!!! Thank you Jesus!!!

Last week has been amazing! God has blessed me in ways that are unbelievable. He knows what we want and He provides for us. He loves to take care of his children and I am started to realize this more and more, daily. Our speaker last week, John Leech, spoke amazing wisdom into all of our lives. I became good friends with him and his son in law Marcus Pillar. They are amazing people of God and I am glad for them to be in my lives. I am so thankful for how God is moving in these students lives, and in our own.

God has called about 7 of us staff to join in with The Call in Sacramento. Its a two day gathering of thousands of hungry Christians who want to intercede for the behalf of America!! I have such a huge heart for America and God has put in my heart to raise support to get there. I believe that he will provide for me, and I am wondering if anyone would like to join in on helping me get there. We will be praying for many issues dealing strictly with America. Like, the government, abortion, human slavery, leaders in the church, etc. God wants to do something with America in a huge way and I want to be apart of standing in the gap to see this happen!!! I apologize for not posting for the past week of so folks!! I have been super busy with the school, but thats still no excuse for not sharing with y'all. I have been doing awesome and so have the students!!! The students are taking ownership of the school now and I love it when students begin to see how awesome our God really is!! Now, it's time to share with them that it is a whole lifetime of finding out how amazing, loving, and merciful Jesus is. Next week is the Father Heart of God week!!! This week is always intense. Realizing who the perfect father is will, without a doubt, wreck how you see God. I can't wait to see God transform lives again this week (even in us, as staff). It's my week to lead everything out and facilitate the classroom with a wonderful woman of God, Kat Hobin. We are gonna rock it!!! Pray for us in the area of being sensitive to what God wants to do and an openness to the students hearts. Thank y'all!!!!!

God is soo soo good to us!! I love when He surprises us. I have been in debt to the school from earlier in the year. I have been praying to get rid of this debt before i leave on outreach and for more. Yesterday, I was checking my mail, and i had an anonymous check for $668!!!! It was around the exact amount that i owed the base!! He is so faithful to us!! So, I am back on track with finances by not being in debt, but I am still praying and working towards $10,000 dollars before outreach or $2000 monthly. I can't wait to see how God is going to work in this area of my life. He's faithful whether you have faith or not!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!

Week 2

We had an Unbelievable Week!! On Monday, we watched a movie called the Finger Of God. At the end, a married couple in our room had gold dust all over them!! It was insane!! After that, we saw healing break out among the students!! The staff and students couldn't grasp it!! Some still can't!! Our speaker was amazing, and you can listen to him on our website www.awakendts.com. We are seeing students lives wrecked from the ordinary. We have our outreach teams together, too. I couldn't ask for a better team!! Can't wait to see what's in store for this next week!! Team Cambodia/Thailand!!!

The first week turned out amazing!! The students are hungry and moving forward, fast. Our staff are all pretty new to this but we are meshing and serving like we have been doing this for years. God has truly blessed us with these students. This past week our topic was on ,'Listening to God." This next week our speaker will teach on, " fear of the Lord". A lot of these students are finally seeing who God really is and that He's not some man in the sky judging people. He is madly in love with everyone on this Earth and they are starting to see it.

Tsunami Warning

I got to pray with my AWESOME and AMAZING Mom today over the phone with some staff. It went better than I had imagined. God showed up all the way across the United States and brought healing in her neck and back! Thank You Jesus!! Its amazing what God can do when you step out in faith and obedience. He has big plans for my parents back in North Carolina and I am excited to see what it is. Today we had an Tsunami warning on the island (they have it the 1st of every month here), but this time it was significant for our school. When two staff members ( the ones that helped me pray for my mom) and I were praying for the themes of the school, God encountered us in a way that none of us have ever experienced. It was the RAW God that gave us revelation that a Tsunami of His love is coming and this was His warning. The revelation (through this tsunami warning) that we received together changed us, I couldn't imagine what this Tsunami of His love is going to be like!!! I am soo very excited about this!! Today is an awesome day, and one of my best. Thank you Jesus!!!

My school will beginning in two weeks. I am getting a little anxious and ready for it to start. I just can't wait to see the students and begin to speak into their lives. God has prepared our staff in a very special way. We are just one big family that are running after God together. We are here to point to students toward Jesus and I am super excited about it! I received a revelation today that changed my way of thinking. It is hard to put into words but here goes nothing.......So, when God created light, he created time. God is outside of time. He is not bound by time. But we are, and he can go anywhere in time that He wants (crazy huh?). God chose us in the beginning because He knew that we were going to chose Him in our lifetime. That right there is a little of what i can put into words. I just meditate on some of those things and it blows my mind!! I just keep getting reminded about the relationship that He wants with everyone. I am growing in a deeper relationship with Jesus daily. I feel like I am getting closer and closer to presence. He continues to melt my heart in every moment i spend with Him. I get to thinking about the school and I feel so secure and ready because I can feel God with me and His presence in heaven supporting me. I actually feel under His wing, in His arms, or however you want to put it. I just feel great for this upcoming season with the Lord!!!

God has taken me through a lot in the past couple of days. He is maturing me in Him before my eyes. It's hard for me to realize that I am finally growing up in areas that are important in my walk. My staff is so supportive of me. I can say that I love every single one of them! I can't wait for our school to start!! This weekend was amazing. I got to spend some good, quality time with the Lord. I am getting addicted to His glorious presence (reading the word, worshiping, praying etc). I can't get enough!! He is preparing me for this next season. I don't even feel like the same person! My life is wrecked, for the good, for Jesus. I am becoming lovesick for His presence. The Holy Spirit is refining me and pruning me back to become more like Him.

Amazing Trip!!

All of the staff for this upcoming school i will be apart of went on an Amazing trip across the island. We had such a wonderful time. We had a agenda but God had other plans for us. We ended up bonding, praying, worshiping, giving testimonies all three days!! We stayed in our living room the whole time! It brought us all together as a family. The presence of God was so thick in that room, none of us wanted to leave! Now its the weekend but it feels like we just had our weekend. God has big plans for our school and staff, and the campus. The whole staff has such a spirit of abandonment for Jesus and He put that in us. We will leave everything in our past behind to follow Him and bring His Kingdom to Earth. By the way my page is still under construction a little bit but hang in there and I will get it together. The Beginning

Hey Everyone!! This is my first blog!! Just wanted to be able to update all my friends and family more often and in an easier way. God has been moving in my life like crazy!! He has began to heal me of things He has revealed in my heart. It's amazing what God can do when you run after Him wholeheartedly!! I am starting my staff training next week but first out staff is going on a staff retreat to the other side of the island. We are going to be 'bonding' with each other, praying, and having some fun!!
